Set inside Rio de Janeiroís busiest train stationóCentral Stationóa young boy, Josue (Vinicius de Oliveira) and his mother journey to contact Josueís estranged father. The two consult a letter writer, DDDD, (Fernanda Montenegro) to send word to Josueís father, but, in a tragic turn of events, the boyís mother is killed. Left in the care of the letter writer, Josue and DDDD embark on a perilous and emotional journey to find the boyís father. However, what they ultimately find is so much more.
